SignRoad Receipt: A Shareable Record of a Synchronicity

A SignRoad receipt is a vintage-style, timestamped record of a sealed sign sighting. It turns a private moment into a shareable object of proof.

A vintage-style receipt showing a sealed sign sighting with a verification stamp

A SignRoad receipt is what turns a private sign sighting into a sealed, shareable record. It is a vintage-style document with a serial number, timestamp, location, and a one-line reflection. Think of it as proof that the moment happened.

What a receipt looks like

  • Sign: The symbol, number, animal, or event you noticed.
  • Date and time: The exact moment the sighting was sealed.
  • Location: Where you were when you noticed it.
  • Rarity: How unusual the sign felt in that context.
  • Verification stamp: A visual mark that the record is sealed and complete.
  • Reflection: Your one-sentence note on what the sign returned you to.

Why receipts matter

Synchronicities and signs fade from memory quickly. A receipt locks the moment in time. When doubt shows up, a receipt is harder to dismiss than a feeling. It is a small object of proof.

Receipts are also the building blocks of the Proof Board. Each one adds weight to the argument that your path is moving.

How to generate a receipt

  1. Choose a sign in the SignRoad app.
  2. Notice the sign in the world.
  3. Tap "Seal the Sighting."
  4. Add one sentence: what were you thinking about right before the sign appeared?
  5. SignRoad generates the receipt and saves it to your Proof Board.

Sharing a receipt

Receipts are designed to be shared. You can export the image, post it to your story, or send a public receipt page link. The viral loop is intentional: when someone sees your receipt, they understand the practice without needing a long explanation.

Shared receipts include a referral code. When someone signs up through your receipt, you both earn Sparks.

Start with your first receipt

Open the SignRoad app, choose a sign, and seal your first sighting. The receipt will be generated automatically.

Common questions

A SignRoad receipt is a vintage-style digital record generated when you seal a sign sighting. It includes a serial number, timestamp, location, and a one-line reflection.

Receipts are designed to be shared because signs often show up in community. A shareable receipt lets you tell the story without explaining the whole app.

Each receipt shows the sign you noticed, the time and location, a wax seal, and your one-line reflection. Optional notes and a photo can be added.

Receipts are saved to your Proof Board. They can also be exported as images or shared to social platforms with a public receipt page link.

Your full Proof Board is private. Individual receipts can be shared as images or public pages only when you choose to share them.
